Things to Do while staying at Camping Riverbay
While providing a relaxing and restful experience at Camping Riverbay is our main goal, you’ll find out there’s plenty of fun things to see and do.

Events & Activities
Movie nights, music nights, private parties, beach parties, golf tournaments, fishing contests and more, are just some of the activities and events that happen at Camping Riverbay. See The Bay Rock for more detail.

Outdoor Sports
For the outdoor sports enthusiasts you can go fishing, power boating, water skiing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, cycling, ATVing and more. ATV and cycling trails are nearby. Bring your own watercraft and enjoy all that the river has to offer. A boat launch is available on and off the campground.
Kids just love it here too! All kinds of ways to fish and have fun.
Get Back to Nature
For the nature lovers, you have come to the right place. Beautiful sunsets, lush greenery, sandy beaches and quite a variety of wildlife. There is plenty to see on and along the Ottawa River and Smith’s Creek. Ducks, geese, loons and deer are a common daily site. Just a short walk or bike ride from camp, you can also go exploring along the 92km PPJ walking/cycling trail. See Local Area Attractions for more details
What to do on a rainy day or night?
Don’t let rainy weather dampen your spirits or fire bans stop you from getting together with family and friends around a campfire. The Bay Rock, screened- in gazebo offers shelter, space to meet and a beautiful fireplace to sit around and enjoy everyone’s company. In addition to the fireplace sitting area there are tables which can be used for dining, card games, board games, etc., and just outside an activity/pic-nic space. See The Bear Rock for more details.
